Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa to address the Nedlac Annual Summit, Johannesburg, 04 September 2014
Johannesburg - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, supported by Minister of Labour Mildred Oliphant, will tomorrow, Friday 05 September 2014, deliver a keynote address at the National Economic Development and Labour Council (NEDLAC) Annual Summit at the Wanderers Club, Ilovo in Johannesburg. The theme of Deputy President Ramaphosa’s address will be "Working together to bring about inclusive growth".
The Deputy President’s participation at the Summit also comes against the background of the responsibility assigned to him by President Jacob Zuma to convene social partners at Nedlac to consider issues around wage inequality and national minimum wage.
NEDLAC is a multi-sectoral forum established to provide a platform for dialogue and also brings together people from different sectors who then contribute to policy development bringing together the various inputs, strengths and comparative advantages from each sector.
