Soshanguve - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, will tomorrow, Saturday, 18 October 2014, attend and speak at the funeral of Veronica Mofokeng, a nine (9) year old girl child who was allegedly raped, mutilated and burned to death at Soshanguve, in the Tshwane District.

The child has been missing on 6 September 2014 and after a long search conducted by both the Police and members of the community, she was found dead on 15 September 2014. The DNA confirmation was received by the family on 13 October 2014, which then allowed the family to commence with the funeral arrangements.

Deputy President Ramaphosa will then after the funeral, proceed to ward 29 in the area, where he will interact with members of the community through a door-to-door visit as part of his parliamentary constituency work.
