Deputy President Ramaphosa to lead a government wide workshop on the best practice models for integrated service delivery for South Africa
Nelspruit - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Friday, 07 November 2014, interact with leadership of national, provincial and local government structures with the aim to replicate and institutionalise the best practice models for integrated service delivery in South Africa. The workshop will be held at the Ingwenyama Lodge, White River, Mpumalanga Province at 08h30.
The workshop is part of the Anti-Poverty Programme led by the Deputy President which aims to eradicate poverty in South Africa through integrated government service delivery initiatives.
The workshop on best practice model for integrated service delivery convened by Deputy President Ramaphosa will be attended by cabinet Ministers, Premiers and Directors General, members of the executive council and mayors in the local municipalities.
In this regard, the workshop will focus in the main on the Operations Sukuma Sakhe (an integrated service delivery model in KwaZulu-Natal) with a view to replicate the model or some of its elements in the other provinces.
