Swearing-in Ceremony of the new National Executive

The Presidency invites members of the media to the Swearing-in Ceremony of the new Deputy President, Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers as Members of the National Executive which will take place on Wednesday, 03 July 2024, in Cape Town.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the members of the National Executive on Sunday, 30 June 2024.

The new National Executive constitutes the 7th Democratic Administration as a Government of National Unity comprising a diversity of political parties as an outcome of the national and provincial elections held on Wednesday, 29 May 2024.

Chief Justice Raymond Zondo will preside over the swearing-in of the executive.

The Swearing-in Ceremony will take place as follows:
Date: Wednesday, 03 July 2024
Time: 10h00 for 11h00
Venue: Cape Town International Convention Centre, CTICC2, Hall 8, Cape Town

Members of the media wishing to cover the ceremony should send their details to Shadi Baloyi on shadi@presidency.gov.za/ 071 571 6415 by Tuesday, 02 July 2024 at 16h30. No late submissions will be accepted.

Members of the media are also requested to present valid press cards on arrival at the venue.

The proceedings will be live streamed of PresidencyZA social media platform.
