President Ramaphosa to address a graduation ceremony of the University of Mpumalanga
President Cyril Ramaphosa, in his capacity as the first Chancellor of the University of Mpumalanga, will on Saturday, 12 May 2018, attend and address the 3rd Graduation Ceremony of the University since its founding in 2013.
The Graduation Ceremony will be held at the newly built multi-purpose centre of the University of Mpumalanga at its Mbombela Campus, Nelspruit.
The Graduation Ceremony is a significant milestone marking and celebrating the progress made by the University in carrying out its mandate of research, teaching and community engagement.
As part of contributing to the development of human capital in our country, the University will confer approximately 237 qualifications in the fields of Education, Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology as well as Hospitality management.
President Ramaphosa was installed as Chancellor of the University of Mpumalanga in 2016. Since then the University has recorded substantial success, including amongst others, increased enrolments as well as an increase in the number and range of its programme offerings.
